Snow White !

Nice to see,
A view to behold,
But when you get out there [ I tell you],
Its really cold !!

Last weekend’s one day trip to a nearby town called Winterberg.As the name suggests,and as do the pics,you can guess what its famous for. Seriously,snow looks great as long as you are either sitting,all bundled up in the warm train or at a restaurant sipping coffee.

But,man,did I have a tough time keeping my fingers and toes warm once I was out in the snow I think I am blue-blooded [ I mean,my blood turns blue fast,especially at end-points like fingers and toes,only ]. Really,me only fit for the Indian summer.

I used to shy away from buying calf/cow leather jacket, but when I was out in the cold winter of chicago I realized my mistake. The bone chilling coldness numbs not only the fingers, I can’t speak at all.

In India especially souther parts, we don’t feel the change in seasons clearly.

For you this must be a giving you lot of good photo opportunities. It would be fantastic to shoot a single nice place in all seasons to see the effect of nature wouldn’t it?

cool pics! Did u forget to wear thermals? anyway, ur lucky NRW is not so cold as other parts of germany, it must´ve been arnd -5 which is quite bearable! btw, leather is as good as wool, no difference.

Kaushik : Havent worn thermals so far..but it was only my hands and feet suffering.I had on a good jacket n pullover and stuff which kept me warm.In fact,i wore two gloves and still went numb :-(so must be blue blood really
