The IPL effect

The little terror runs and stands at the corner most corner of the living room.Then she tells her Appa ,”Ok,naan ippo kiriket velayaadren.Ippo ball podren.Nee bat-aala adi”. [ Note:She has already given this little plastic hockey bat into her father's hands .He is idly sitting on the sofa and ofcourse,watching IPL] .Then she runs dangerously close to my hubby and suddenly flings the ball (like Malinga) to some other corner of the house.And,then ,she started rolling on the floor right in the middle of the living room.Note that the ball is nowhere near where she is rolling.And ,she gets up again and repeats the whole procedure.

I didn’t get it at first.Only after she did the whole rolling thing a few times,I understood.

She has been watching too much IPL and too less cricket .The little brain in her littler head has figured out that a  rolling stunt is what matters more  than proper fielding.She has definitely understood the antics of the game better than the game itself,thanks to IPL.
